Ficlets may very well be the best thing to hit the medium of the written word since punctuation. Or it could be the worst thing for it since Erotic Versions of Star Trek Where All Characters Are Furries, Like Kirk is an Ocelot or Something, and a Furry Version of the Author as the Star of the Story. I can’t really decide.

If it’s any indication though, one of the most popular ficlets on the site right now is about Sushi Made of Kittens so I sense greatness in the future. I sense amazing metagame possibilities with this site, not to mention candidacy for invasion.
