This game looks to be the hardest Shmup ever. At this point, it’s just about memorizing and learning patterns for the boss fights. I can’t see a single place you can be in the second one to live without dying.

Raph has a really rad mouse pad for sale. I tried to do something similar myself, but instead of 2D games, it was the entire internets. I got pretty far, but somehow lost the paper. I pity anyone who tried to understand my scribblings. I also didn’t make it into a mousepad, but I should have. Seeing this awesomeness made me finally snap and go order his book, A Theory of Fun. No, I’m not getting anything for plugging it. I’ll let you know how it is!
